AO: Tough Tuesday

By: Safety Valve

Four HIMS strong showed up to Tough Tuesday. Not because they knew it would be easy. They knew what they were getting themselves into when they rolled out of bed today. Besides the men who showed, there was nothing special about this morning. No theme, no trivia, and YHC even forgot Turt so there was no music. It was a classic show up to strengthen yourself physically , mentally and spiritually. This is what F3 has given me the last 2 years. There’s no better way to celebrate that than to continue giving the gift to others as well.

Warmaramma – Dox even made it for the SSH. Pretty rare these days.

An educational mosey to the parking lot at the start of Rich mans loop was next to show the PAX what will be happening that morning. The sandbags made a comeback for this morning now that YHC’s should can actually lift them. AB, I promise there was no trivia. Not that kind of education.

The thang consisted of 3 stations/rounds of Dora.

1. 300 merkins – partner 1 starts on the merks while partner 2 moseys to the parking lot and does 20 curls
2. 300 Freak Nastys – partner 1 starts on the nastys while partner 2 moseys to the parking lot and does 30 lawn mower rows (15 each side)
3. 400 LBCs – partner 1 starts on the LBCs while partner 2 moseys to the parking lot and does 15 kettle bell swings.

While Dox was looking up the number to the 5 am senior classes at the Wellness Center, Popeye was steadily knocking out reps. So much so, YHC thought he had underestimated the rep count for this morning. But in the end, we weren’t far off. Had 6 minutes left to go pick up the dang bags and farmer carry back to the flag with another 2 minutes of Mary, followed by COT and Pop prayed us out.

Continued prayers comfort and healing for all those suffering from illness.

Heartfelt thank you to all those in this group. The regulars, the off and on guys, the once a year guys, and the one and done guys. Each person has led to the physical, mental and spiritual growth I have witnessed in myself and family in the last two years. This group has been the most profound yet cheapest personal trainer, life coach, psychologist, and spiritual director all bundled into one.

SYITG,
Valve
