Star and stripes and suck
YHC took a last minute Q from father goose. With a bottle rocket in one hand and a cold beer in the other, a faint idea began to grow from the depth of my bowls. A sinister smile crept to lips, as the pleasant aroma of black powder filled my sinuses.
Nothing would break a hungover Saturday morning like the feel of a coupon in your hands and sweat in your eyes. ‘MERICA!
Warmarama-
SSH- high knees- buttocks- Hillbillies- arm circles (with or without the leg out thing). Cherry pickers
Thang1-
Lady Liberty Ladder
After a quick mosey to the Thunderdome- the Pax lined up on the far end while YHC set up 2 stations roughly 25 yards from each other and the PAX (Think equilateral triangle)
Station 1 (a lonely Cindy)
Station 2 (9lb slam ball)
Each PaX revolutionist would sprint solo to the Cindy and complete 1 Thruster, then sprint to station 2 and complete 1 med ball slam. Then the next man would go. After each PAX completed each round, we climbed the ladder with 2 reps, then 3, then 4, etc… up to 10. While in wait, PAX would hold Al Gore, mission impossible, or plank through the 10 rounds.
Thang2-
Freedom Circle of fire
Shock & Awe
The Thunderdome was divided into 6 Stations (one for each PAX).
1. Blockees
2. Slamball American Hammers
3. Side shuffle around the Thunderdome
4. Heels to heaven
5. 35# dumbbell swings
6. Step ups
A 90 second AMRAP timer was started each PAX rotated through the stations for 2 revolutions.
The Pax moseyed back to the flag for 1 minute of birddogs until time was called.
COT-
Prayers for the victims and those missing in Texas floods, Yote and his healing, & Daisyduke for his upcoming work travels.
Lilcuz prayed us out.
The strength courage and grit to accomplish the hard is a shared gift we all consume and give in equal parts. Thank you fellow PAX for the opportunity to lead such fine men.
