They’re All Twix! It was a Setup!

It starts when you hear a friend listening to AI generated music while he drives… then he talks about it as if it was a real music.
Maybe another friend creates an entire AI album and then disappears from the Q sheet for years…
At some point you realize we are already living in a dystopian future.

The only way to fight the future is to prove to these people that mankind can still make music as good as any machine. Or in this case, as bad as any machine.

Months ago, Goose presented us with:
“Was this song written as a joke, or seriously?”
We would do an exercise while the song played, and write with chalk our answer.

So YHC converted that into:
“Was this song AI generated, or just a bad song AB happens to be aware of?”

The other hitch: YHC wasn’t prepared enough to bring chalk, so the PAX would scrawl their answers into the concrete using their coupon. You know, like men.

But first: a Dora where one partner does murder bunnies and the other does 100s until we reach 100 murder bunnies.

The playlist:

Cool Job
Little Bastard
Tiger’s Blood
Voodoo Lady
Year to be Young 1994
Rock ‘n’ Roll McDonald’s
Push th’ Little Daisies
Fish Heads
Honeysuckle Blue

The PAX did exactly average at guessing AI vs real songs.
Some were really tough. The 1994 song was peppered with so much AB nostalgia it seemed it had to be AI… but Popeye sniffed that out, grumbling “AI don’t know shit about a No Fear sweatshirt,” as he correctly scrawled “AB” on the sidewalk.

About halfway through, YHC heard Paradox said:
“Oh- I bet they’re all either one or the other. . . AB likes that shock factor.”
File this under either “AB is Getting Too Predictable,” or “If Dox Has Enough Theories, Eventually One is Correct.”
Roxbury may had the same premonition, because he voted AI on every song.
He was wrong though. They were all real.

Penalty merkins were distributed because there was no time for burpees.

I think can all sleep a little easier knowing that mankind can still make ridiculous songs too. You’re welcome.

STITG,
AB
