Six pax gathered at The Stage for Tuesday Tuff. Or is it gathered at Tuesday Tuff? So many new questions.

The hype was the Taxi Driver meme that TerraVanilli recently used, but with a rewording of the quote sort of representative of the trivia component to be revealed soon. Satisfyingly, that caused the Pax, at least those who attended, and maybe more, to assume it was a Robert DeNiro beatdown. Popeye proceeded to watch Meet the Parents. AB proceeded to watch every DeNiro movie, as well as every other movie, except for The Sandlot.

The real theme was more general: well-known to fairly-well-known quotes from well-known movies. These trivia moments would serve as small physical rest periods as part of roughly five-minute work intervals.

Work intervals:
Dora 160 merkins, run there and back
Dora 120 goblet squats, nur there run back
Dora 100 OHP, skip there run back
Dora 100 Bonnie Blair, rifle carry there and back

For the trivia part, YHC read a few lines of dialogue leading up to the line in question. We started with 20 burpees. Correct movie was -5 burpees. Almost correct line was -5 burpees, fully correct line was -10 burpees instead. Many times Pax got the minimum of 5 burpees. Especially impressive was “You’re gonna need a bigger boat” instead of the expected “We’re gonna need a bigger boat.” All YHC can say is, it was a good thing that Enron was there!
