The Industrial Revolution… or Was It a Puppy Who Lost His Way?

PAX: Safety Valve, Honeysuckle, Dox, Maneater, Jackknife, Rox, Americas Best, Popeye

It was a dark and confusing morning, much like the moment when Billy Madison was asked to explain the Industrial Revolution and somehow turned it into a heartfelt story about a puppy who lost his way. Maneater showed up with a boat. Confused everyone. Dox showed up on a Monday again. The only thing not confusing is that Safety Valve showed up late again – always reliable.

YHC kicked things off by demonstrating his elite artistic abilities, using sidewalk chalk to draw several perfectly circular circles on the concrete. Apparently, years of practice of drawing eyeballs have finally paid off. While some Qs bring maps, cones, or sophisticated workout plans, YHC brings geometry and a healthy dose of toxic gas, almost as much as the Industrial Revolution itself created.

The theme of the morning was simple: Revolutions

Not the Industrial Revolution.
Not the French Revolution.
Not the American Revolution.

Just a bunch of grown men running around in circles.

Warmaramma: typical

Thang 1:

Circle 1: the merkin industrial complex
The PAX rotated through: 5 Merkins, 5 Ranger Merkins, 5 Diamond Merkin, 5 Wide Merkins

Circle 2: Sit Up summit
5 WW1 Sit-Ups, 5 WW2 Sit-Ups, 5 WW3 Sit ups

Circle 3: ABs long metal ball and stick shoulder rotations continuously

Circle 4 : circle of pain
5 Merkins, 5 Burpees, 5 Derkins, 5 Manmakers

Circle 5: Enron’s economy
Continuous curls.

Circle 6: a leg up
Continuous Apollo oh nos

The last of the PAX would become the human stopwatch:
1st round – murder bunny across the lawn and rifle carry back
2nd round and beyond – 2 lap run

Once he got back the PAX rotated to the next circle.

Thang 2:
YHC loves making the PAX listen to random obscure music that no one else knows. So we bear crawled in a circle and did a merkin every time the song said “circle”.

Minute of Mary, COT and someone prayed us out.
